Brainspotting
The idea is simple: where you look affects how you feel. During your session, Autumn will guide your eyes to a specific point in your field of vision—called a “brainspot.” This spot is connected to the deeper parts of your brain where difficult experiences and emotions are stored. By focusing there, your brain and body can begin to naturally process and heal what has been held inside.
Many people describe Brainspotting as a way of unlocking what words alone can’t reach. Instead of having to explain or relive every detail of a painful memory, you can allow your nervous system to do the work of releasing tension and finding balance.
Brainspotting is for anyone who feels weighed down by experiences, emotions, or patterns they can’t seem to move past. It’s especially helpful if:
You’ve tried talking about your struggles but still feel stuck
You’re carrying stress or trauma that shows up in your body as tension, pain, or fatigue
You want relief from anxiety, panic, or overwhelming emotions
You’re seeking to break through blocks in performance, creativity, or personal growth
You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear story to benefit. Brainspotting meets you where you are and helps your mind and body do the healing work they’re naturally designed to do.
In your Brainspotting session you can expect a calm, supportive environment where you set the pace. Autumn will offer gentle guidance as she locates the brainspot and time to notice what comes up in your body and mind, without pressure to “get it right”. The process will feel both focused and deeply grounding.
Clients have often report feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected to themselves after sessions. Over time, Brainspotting can help reduce the intensity of painful memories, ease physical tension, and create space for new perspectives and growth.
